FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR INSTALLATION


  1. INSTALL FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR ASSEMBLY

      *1 New O-Ring

      Apply gasoline to 2 new O-rings and install them to the fuel pressure regulator assembly.

    2. A005SZA

      Install the fuel pressure regulator assembly.

  2. INSTALL FUEL PUMP


    1. A005SH2

      Connect the fuel pump harness connector.

      *1 Fuel Pump Spacer

      Install the fuel pump spacer to the fuel pump assembly.

    3. Apply gasoline to a new O-ring and install the O-ring to the fuel pump.

      Attach the 5 claws to the holes to install the fuel pump.

      Note


      • Do not remove the suction filter.

      • Do not use either the fuel pump or the suction filter if the suction filter is removed from the fuel pump.

    5. A005RXM

      Attach the 2 claws to the holes to install the No. 1 fuel suction support.

    6. A005WBF

      Attach the 2 claws of the fuel suction support and install the fuel filter and fuel pump onto the fuel sub-tank.

    7. A005RHQ

      Align the groove of the fuel pump filter hose with the cutout of the fuel sub-tank and install the hose.

      Note

      Do not apply excessive force to the fuel tube or the suction support.

  3. INSTALL FUEL SENDER GAUGE ASSEMBLY


    1. A005TJB

      Install the fuel sender gauge assembly by sliding it downward.

    2. A005RND

      Connect the 2 harness clamps.

    3. Install the harness protector.

      Note

      Do not damage the wire harness.

    4. Connect the connector of the fuel sender gauge assembly.
