REMOVE REAR WIPER BLADE ASSEMBLY (w/ Resin Wiper Arm)
Raise the rear wiper blade assembly to the position where the claw detaches with a click sound as shown in the illustration.
Note
Be careful not to damage the claw.
Pull the rear wiper blade assembly straight toward to remove it from the rear wiper arm.
Note
Do not lower the rear wiper arm with the rear wiper blade assembly removed. The arm tip may damage the back door glass surface.
REMOVE REAR WIPER BLADE ASSEMBLY (w/ Steel Wiper Arm)
Disengage the claw as shown in the illustration.
Remove the rear wiper blade assembly as shown in the illustration.
Note
Do not lower the rear wiper arm with the rear wiper blade assembly removed. The arm tip may damage the back door glass surface.

Lift and pull the end of the rear wiper rubber protrusion from the blade stopper as shown in the illustration.
Note
Do not forcibly pull out the rear wiper rubber. The rear wiper rubber backing plates will be deformed or the rear wiper blade assembly claws will be damaged.
Tech Tips
Lightly pushing the rear wiper rubber in the middle will allow it to be removed more easily.
Remove the 2 rear wiper rubber backing plates.
REMOVE REAR WIPER RUBBER (w/ Steel Wiper Arm)
Detach the head part (large side) of the rear wiper rubber from the rear wiper blade assembly.

Remove the rear wiper rubber in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration.
Note
Do not pull out the rear wiper rubber forcibly. Doing so will deform the rear wiper rubber backing plate or damage the rear wiper blade assembly claw.
Remove the 2 rear wiper rubber backing plates from the rear wiper rubber.
INSTALL REAR WIPER RUBBER (w/ Resin Wiper Arm)

Install the 2 rear wiper rubber backing plates as shown in the illustration.
Note
Install the 2 rear wiper rubber backing plates facing the correct direction.
Insert the rear wiper rubber from the front end of the rear wiper blade assembly to the rear end through the second claw.

After pushing the rear wiper rubber through the rear end claw, allow it to stick out from the rear end stopper.

Slide the rear wiper rubber through the front end claw.

Install the 2 rear wiper rubber backing plates as shown in the illustration.
Note
Install the 2 rear wiper rubber backing plates facing the correct direction.

Attach the head part (large side) of the rear wiper rubber to the rear end side claw of the rear wiper blade assembly.
Install the rear wiper rubber to the claw of the rear wiper blade assembly in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration.
Note
Push the rear wiper blade assembly into the grooves of the rear wiper rubber to attach them completely.
Tech Tips
Install the rear wiper rubber so that the head part (large side) of the rear wiper rubber faces the arm axle side.

Push the rear wiper blade assembly straight toward to install it to the rear wiper arm.
Engage the claw to install the rear wiper blade assembly as shown in the illustration.
Note
Be careful not to damage the claw.
