FUEL LID LOCK CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY (for LHD) INSTALLATION


  1. INSTALL FUEL LID LOCK CONTROL CABLE SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Engage the 7 clamps.

    2. A00417R

      Engage the 2 claws and connect the fuel lid lock control cable sub-assembly.

  2. INSTALL FUEL LID LOCK OPEN LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Connect the fuel lid lock control cable sub-assembly.

    2. A00417T

      Engage the guide and install the fuel lid lock open lever sub-assembly with the screw.

      Torque:
      5.5 N*m  { 56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf }

  3. INSTALL DECK TRIM SIDE PANEL ASSEMBLY LH


    1. Connect the connector.

    2. Engage the 7 claws and 2 clips.

    3. Install the deck trim side panel assembly LH with the screw.

  4. INSTALL TONNEAU COVER HOLDER CAP (for LH Side)


    1. A00447U

      Engage the claw to install the tonneau cover holder cap.

  5. INSTALL LUGGAGE HOLD BELT STRIKER ASSEMBLY (for LH Side)


    1. Engage the 2 guides.

    2. Install the 2 luggage hold belt striker assemblies with the 2 bolts.

  6. INSTALL REAR DECK TRIM COVER


    1. Engage the 4 claws to install the rear deck trim cover.

  7. INSTALL DECK TRIM SERVICE HOLE COVER


    1. Engage the 4 guides.

    2. Engage the 4 claws to install the deck trim service hole cover.

  8. INSTALL REAR NO. 1 FLOOR BOARD


    1. Engage the 3 fasteners.

    2. Install the rear No. 1 floor board with the clip.

    3. Engage each fastener.

  9. INSTALL REAR NO. 1 FLOOR BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Engage the claw and 3 clips to install the rear No. 1 floor board sub-assembly.

  10. INSTALL REAR NO. 2 FLOOR BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Engage the claw and 2 clips to install the rear No. 2 floor board sub-assembly.

  11. INSTALL DECK FLOOR BOX LH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the RH side.

  12. INSTALL REAR NO. 4 FLOOR BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Install the rear No. 4 floor board sub-assembly.

  13. INSTALL TONNEAU COVER ASSEMBLY


    1. Install the tonneau cover assembly.

  14. INSTALL REAR NO. 2 FLOOR BOARD


    1. Engage the 3 fasteners.

    2. Install the rear No. 2 floor board with the 2 clips.

  15. INSTALL REAR SIDE SEATBACK ASSEMBLY LH


    1. A0040RH

      Engage the 2 guides as shown in the illustration.

    2. Engage the 3 fasteners.

    3. Install the rear side seatback assembly LH with the bolt.

      Torque:
      18 N*m  { 184 kgf*cm, 13 ft.*lbf }

  16. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY


    1. Place the rear seat cushion assembly in the cabin.

      Note

      Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

      Engage the 2 rear hooks of the rear seat cushion assembly to the rear seatback assembly.

    3. Engage the 2 front hooks of the rear seat cushion assembly to the vehicle body as shown in the illustration.

    4. Confirm that the rear seat cushion assembly is firmly installed.

      Note

      When installing the rear seat cushion assembly, make sure that the seat belt buckles are not under the rear seat cushion assembly.

  17. INSTALL CENTER PILLAR LOWER GARNISH LH


    1. Engage the 2 claws and 2 clips to install the center pillar lower garnish LH.

  18. CONNECT FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY LH


    1. A0040I7

      Install the floor end of the front seat outer belt assembly with the bolt.

      Torque:
      42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }

    2. Check if the ELR locks.

      Note

      The check should be performed with the outer belt assembly installed.


      1. With the belt assembly installed, check that the belt locks when it is pulled out quickly.

  19. INSTALL LAP BELT OUTER ANCHOR COVER LH


    1. A0041VP

      Engage the 3 claws to install the lap belt outer anchor cover.

  20. CONNECT REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP LH

      *1 Alignment Mark (Red)

      Align the alignment mark (Red) on the weatherstrip with the protruding portion on the body indicated by the arrow in the illustration, and install the rear door opening trim weatherstrip LH.

      Note

      After installation, check that the corners fit correctly.

  21. INSTALL REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH


    1. Engage the 7 claws to install the rear door scuff plate LH.

  22. INSTALL FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP LH

      *1 Alignment Mark (Yellow)

      Align the alignment mark (Yellow) on the weatherstrip with the protruding portion on the body indicated by the arrow in the illustration, and install the front door opening trim weatherstrip LH.

      Note

      After installation, check that the corners fit correctly.

  23. INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH


    1. Engage the 10 claws to install the front door scuff plate LH.
