ROOF HEADLINING INSTALLATION


  1. INSTALL ROOF HEADLINING ASSEMBLY


    1. A00426H

      Put the roof headlining assembly into the vehicle through the back door.

      Note

      Do not damage the roof headlining assembly or body interior.

    2. Install the 5 clips.

    3. Connect the 2 connectors to the connector holder.

    4. Engage the 4 clamps to the front pillar LH.

    5. w/o Satellite Radio:


      1. Engage the 3 clamps and connect the connector to the front pillar RH.

    6. w/ Satellite Radio:


      1. Engage the 3 clamps and connect the 2 connectors to the front pillar RH.

    7. Engage the clamp and connect the 2 connectors to the rear pillar RH.

    8. w/ Rain Sensor or w/ EC Mirror:


      1. Engage the 2 clamps.

    9. w/ EC Mirror:


      1. Connect the inner rear view mirror connector.

    10. w/ Rain Sensor:


      1. Connect the rain sensor connector.

  2. INSTALL VISOR HOLDER


    1. A004355

      Engage the 2 claws.

    2. Push in the visor holder as shown in the illustration.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for the other visor holder.

  3. INSTALL VISOR ASSEMBLY LH


    1. Engage the 2 clips to install the visor assembly LH.

  4. INSTALL VISOR BRACKET COVER LH

      Engage the 3 claws to install the visor bracket cover LH.

  12. INSTALL INNER REAR VIEW MIRROR COVER (w/ EC Mirror)

      Engage the 6 claws and install the inner rear view mirror cover.

      Engage the 2 guides and install the inner rear view mirror cover as shown in the illustration.

  13. INSTALL RAIN SENSOR COVER (w/ Rain Sensor)

      Engage the 2 claws.

    2. Install the rain sensor cover as shown in the illustration.

  14. INSTALL ROOF SIDE INNER GARNISH ASSEMBLY LH


    1. Engage the 9 clips to install the roof side inner garnish assembly LH.

  15. INSTALL DECK TRIM SIDE PANEL ASSEMBLY LH


    1. Connect the connector.

    2. Engage the 7 claws and 2 clips.

    3. Install the deck trim side panel assembly LH with the screw.

  16. INSTALL TONNEAU COVER HOLDER CAP (for LH Side)

      Engage the claw to install the tonneau cover holder cap.

  17. INSTALL LUGGAGE HOLD BELT STRIKER ASSEMBLY (for LH Side)


    1. Engage the 2 guides.

    2. Install the 2 luggage hold belt striker assemblies with the 2 bolts.

  18. INSTALL ROOF SIDE INNER GARNISH ASSEMBLY RH

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  19. INSTALL DECK TRIM SIDE PANEL ASSEMBLY RH


    1. Engage the 7 claws and 2 clips.

    2. Install the deck trim side panel assembly RH with the screw.

  20. INSTALL TONNEAU COVER HOLDER CAP (for RH Side)

  21. INSTALL LUGGAGE HOLD BELT STRIKER ASSEMBLY (for RH Side)

  22. INSTALL REAR DECK TRIM COVER


    1. Engage the 4 claws to install the rear deck trim cover.

  23. INSTALL DECK TRIM SERVICE HOLE COVER


    1. Engage the 4 guides.

    2. Engage the 4 claws to install the deck trim service hole cover.

  24. INSTALL REAR NO. 1 FLOOR BOARD


    1. Engage the 3 fasteners.

    2. Install the rear No. 1 floor board with the clip.

    3. Engage each fastener.

  25. INSTALL REAR NO. 1 FLOOR BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Engage the claw and 3 clips to install the rear No. 1 floor board sub-assembly.

  26. INSTALL REAR NO. 2 FLOOR BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Engage the claw and 2 clips to install the rear No. 2 floor board sub-assembly.

  27. INSTALL DECK FLOOR BOX LH

    Use the same procedure described for the RH side.

  28. INSTALL REAR NO. 4 FLOOR BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Install the rear No. 4 floor board sub-assembly.

  29. INSTALL TONNEAU COVER ASSEMBLY

  31. INSTALL REAR SIDE SEATBACK ASSEMBLY LH

      Engage the 2 guides as shown in the illustration.

    2. Engage the 3 fasteners.

    3. Install the rear side seatback assembly LH with the bolt.

      Torque:
      18 N*m  { 184 kgf*cm, 13 ft.*lbf }

  32. INSTALL REAR SIDE SEATBACK ASSEMBLY RH

      Engage the 2 guides as shown in the illustration.

    2. Engage the 3 fasteners.

    3. Install the rear side seatback assembly RH with the bolt.

      Torque:
      18 N*m  { 184 kgf*cm, 13 ft.*lbf }

  33. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY


    1. Place the rear seat cushion assembly in the cabin.

      Note

      Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

      Engage the 2 rear hooks of the rear seat cushion assembly to the rear seatback assembly.

    3. Engage the 2 front hooks of the rear seat cushion assembly to the vehicle body as shown in the illustration.

    4. Confirm that the rear seat cushion assembly is firmly installed.

      Note

      When installing the rear seat cushion assembly, make sure that the seat belt buckles are not under the rear seat cushion assembly.

  34. INSTALL CENTER PILLAR GARNISH LH


    1. Pass the floor anchor of the front seat outer seat belt assembly LH through the center pillar garnish LH.

      Engage the clip.

    3. Install the center pillar garnish LH with the screw.

  35. INSTALL CENTER PILLAR LOWER GARNISH LH


    1. Engage the 2 claws and 2 clips to install the center pillar lower garnish LH.

  36. CONNECT FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY LH


    1. A0040I7

      Install the floor end of the front seat outer belt assembly with the bolt.

      Torque:
      42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }

    2. Check if the ELR locks.

      Note

      The check should be performed with the outer belt assembly installed.


      1. With the belt assembly installed, check that the belt locks when it is pulled out quickly.

  37. INSTALL LAP BELT OUTER ANCHOR COVER (for LH Side)

      Engage the 3 claws to install the lap belt outer anchor cover.

  38. INSTALL REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP LH

      Align the alignment mark (Red) on the weatherstrip with the protruding portion on the body indicated by the arrow in the illustration, and install the rear door opening trim weatherstrip LH.

      Note

      After installation, check that the corners fit correctly.

  39. INSTALL REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH


    1. Engage the 7 claws to install the rear door scuff plate LH.

  40. INSTALL FRONT PILLAR GARNISH LH


    1. Remove the protective cover.

      Make sure that the front pillar garnish clip is not damaged.

      Note


      • If there is any damage, replace the garnish clip with a new one.

      • When a garnish clip is being replaced, make sure to install it in the direction shown in the illustration.

    3. Engage the claw to direction indicated by the arrow (1).

    4. Engage the 3 guides to direction indicated by the arrow (2).

    5. Turn the end of the front pillar garnish clip 90° with needle-nosed pliers and install it to the front pillar garnish LH.

      Tech Tips

      Tape the needle-nosed pliers tip before use.

      Engage the 2 clips to install the front pillar garnish LH.

  41. INSTALL FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP LH

      Align the alignment mark (Yellow) on the weatherstrip with the protruding portion on the body indicated by the arrow in the illustration, and install the front door opening trim weatherstrip LH.

  42. INSTALL COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD LH


    1. Engage the 2 clips.

    2. Install the cowl side trim board LH with the clip.
