REAR SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY INSTALLATION


  1. INSTALL REAR SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY


    1. Install the ELR anchor bracket with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }

    2. Engage the guide and install the rear seat outer belt assembly with the bolt.

      Torque:
      42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }

    3. Check if the ELR locks.

      Note

      The check should be performed with the outer belt assembly installed.


      1. With the belt assembly installed, check that the belt locks when it is pulled out quickly.

      Connect the floor end of the rear seat outer belt assembly with the bolt.

      Torque:
      42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }

      Note

      Do not allow the anchor part of the rear seat outer belt assembly to overlap the protruding part of the floor panel.

  2. INSTALL ROOF SIDE INNER GARNISH ASSEMBLY LH (for LH Side)


    1. Engage the 9 clips to install the roof side inner garnish assembly LH.

  3. INSTALL DECK TRIM SIDE PANEL ASSEMBLY LH (for LH Side)


    1. Connect the connector.

    2. Engage the 7 claws and 2 clips.

    3. Install the deck trim side panel assembly LH with the screw.

  4. INSTALL TONNEAU COVER HOLDER CAP (for LH Side)

      Engage the claw to install the tonneau cover holder cap.

  5. INSTALL LUGGAGE HOLD BELT STRIKER ASSEMBLY (for LH Side)


    1. Engage the 2 guides.

    2. Install the 2 luggage hold belt striker assemblies with the 2 bolts.

  6. INSTALL ROOF SIDE INNER GARNISH ASSEMBLY RH (for RH Side)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  7. INSTALL DECK TRIM SIDE PANEL ASSEMBLY RH (for RH Side)


    1. Engage the 7 claws and 2 clips.

    2. Install the deck trim side panel assembly RH with the screw.

  8. INSTALL TONNEAU COVER HOLDER CAP (for RH Side)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  9. INSTALL LUGGAGE HOLD BELT STRIKER ASSEMBLY (for RH Side)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  10. INSTALL NO. 1 HYBRID BATTERY INTAKE DUCT (for LH Side)


    1. Install the No. 1 hybrid battery intake duct with the clip.

  11. INSTALL REAR DECK TRIM COVER


    1. Engage the 4 claws to install the rear deck trim cover.

  12. INSTALL DECK TRIM SERVICE HOLE COVER


    1. Engage the 4 guides.

    2. Engage the 4 claws to install the deck trim service hole cover.

  13. INSTALL REAR NO. 1 FLOOR BOARD


    1. Engage the 3 fasteners.

    2. Install the rear No. 1 floor board with the clip.

    3. Engage each fastener.

  14. INSTALL REAR NO. 1 FLOOR BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Engage the claw and 3 clips to install the rear No. 1 floor board sub-assembly.

  15. INSTALL REAR NO. 2 FLOOR BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Engage the claw and 2 clips to install the rear No. 2 floor board sub-assembly.

  16. INSTALL DECK FLOOR BOX LH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the RH side.

  17. INSTALL REAR NO. 4 FLOOR BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Install the rear No. 4 floor board sub-assembly.

  18. INSTALL TONNEAU COVER ASSEMBLY


    1. Install the tonneau cover assembly.

  19. INSTALL DECK FLOOR BOX RH


    1. Engage the claw and 4 guide to install the deck floor box RH.

  20. INSTALL REAR NO. 3 FLOOR BOARD


    1. Install the rear No. 3 floor board.

  21. INSTALL REAR NO. 2 FLOOR BOARD


    1. Engage the 3 fasteners.

    2. Install the rear No. 2 floor board with the 2 clips.

  22. INSTALL REAR SIDE SEATBACK ASSEMBLY LH (for LH Side)


    1. A0040RH

      Engage the 2 guides as shown in the illustration.

    2. Engage the 3 fasteners.

    3. Install the rear side seatback assembly LH with the bolt.

      Torque:
      18 N*m  { 184 kgf*cm, 13 ft.*lbf }

  23. INSTALL REAR SIDE SEATBACK ASSEMBLY RH (for RH Side)


    1. A0043VX

      Engage the 2 guides as shown in the illustration.

    2. Engage the 3 fasteners.

    3. Install the rear side seatback assembly RH with the bolt.

      Torque:
      18 N*m  { 184 kgf*cm, 13 ft.*lbf }

  24. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY


    1. Place the rear seat cushion assembly in the cabin.

      Note

      Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

      Engage the 2 rear hooks of the rear seat cushion assembly to the rear seatback assembly.

    3. Engage the 2 front hooks of the rear seat cushion assembly to the vehicle body as shown in the illustration.

    4. Confirm that the rear seat cushion assembly is firmly installed.

      Note

      When installing the rear seat cushion assembly, make sure that the seat belt buckles are not under the rear seat cushion assembly.

  26. INSTALL REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE


    1. Engage the 7 claws to install the rear door scuff plate LH.
