OCCUPANT DETECTION SENSOR INSTALLATION


  1. INSTALL OCCUPANT DETECTION SENSOR (SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION PAD)

      Using hog ring pliers, install the separate type front seat cushion cover to the occupant detection sensor (separate type front seat cushion pad) with 11 new hog rings.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the occupant detection sensor (separate type front seat cushion pad).

      • When installing the hog rings, take care to minimize wrinkles as much as possible.

      Using hog ring pliers, install the separate type front seat cushion cover to the occupant detection sensor (separate type front seat cushion pad) with 2 new hog rings.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the occupant detection sensor (separate type front seat cushion pad).

      • When installing the hog rings, take care to minimize wrinkles as much as possible.

  2. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD


    1. Engage each hook to install the separate type front seat cushion cover with pad to the separate type front seat cushion spring assembly as shown in the illustration.

      Engage the 2 hooks as shown in the illustration.

    3. for Front Passenger Side:


      1. A00434Z

        Engage the hook to connect the belt warning occupant detection sensor connector.

    4. A00407G

      Engage the fastener to connect the front seat airbag assembly wire harness.

    5. A0041K6

      Engage the clamp to connect the seat heater wire harness.

    6. Connect the seat heater connector.

    7. A004185

      Engage the 4 clamps to connect the seat heater wire harness.

    8. A0040AY

      Engage the 4 hooks.

    9. A0040K0

      Connect the rubber band.

  6. INSTALL FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY

      *1 Protruding Part

      Install the front seat inner belt assembly with the nut.

      Torque:
      42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }

      Note

      Do not allow the anchor part of the front seat inner belt assembly to overlap the protruding part of the front seat adjuster.

    2. Engage each clamp under the front seat assembly.

    3. Connect the connector under the front seat assembly.
