    1. Customizing with the GTS

      Tech Tips

      The following items can be customized.

      Note


      • When the customer requests a change in a function, first make sure that the function can be customized.

      • Be sure to make a note of the current settings before customizing.

      • When troubleshooting a function, first make sure that the function is set to the default setting.


      1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

      2. Turn the power switch on (IG).

      3. Turn the GTS on.

      4. Enter the following menus: Customize Setting / Air Conditioner.

      5. Select the setting by referring to the table below.

        Set Temperature Shift Normal Function to perform control with the shifted temperature versus the displayed temperature -2C, -1C, Normal, +1C, +2C Air conditioning amplifier assembly
        Air Inlet Mode Automatic In case of turning the A/C ON to cool the cabin down quickly, this is the function to change the mode automatically to RECIRCULATION mode. Automatic or Manual Air conditioning amplifier assembly
        Foot/DEF Auto Mode ON Function to turn the airflow from FOOT/DEF on automatically when AUTO MODE is on ON or OFF Air conditioning amplifier assembly
        Foot/DEF Automatic Blow Up Function ON Function to increase the blower level automatically when the defroster is on ON or OFF Air conditioning amplifier assembly
        Ambient Temperature Shift Normal Function to display shifted ambient temperature versus actual ambient temperature -3C, -2C, -1C, Normal, +1C, +2C, +3C Air conditioning amplifier assembly
        ECO MODE Cancel OFF Function to cancel the ECO mode drive when item is on OFF or ON Air conditioning amplifier assembly
        Noise and Vibration Reduction OFF Function to change speed of the compressor when item is on OFF or ON Air conditioning amplifier assembly
        Start Pre A/C Long1 Function to set the activation operation method for the remote air conditioning system using the key (electrical transmitter). 1 tim ON, 2 tim ON, Long1 or Long2 Main Body ECU (multiplex network body ECU)
        Stop Pre A/C 2 tim ON Function to set the stop operation method for the remote air conditioning system using the key (electrical transmitter). 1 tim ON, 2 tim ON, Long1 or Long2 Main Body ECU (multiplex network body ECU)

    2. Customizing using the Multi-display (w/ Navigation Receiver Type)


      1. Turn the power switch on (IG).

      2. Enter the following menus: SETUP / Vehicle / Vehicle customization / Climate settings.

      3. Select the setting by referring to the table below.

        Efficient Ventilation Mode On In case of turning the A/C ON to cool the cabin down quickly, this is the function to change the mode automatically to RECIRCULATION mode On or Off Air conditioning amplifier assembly
