FRONT SEATBACK HEATER (for Manual Seat) INSTALLATION


  1. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK HEATER ASSEMBLY (SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER)

      *1 Fastening Rubber
      *2 Hog Ring

      Using hog ring pliers, connect the 2 fastening rubbers to the separate type front seatback pad with 2 new hog rings.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the separate type front seatback cover.

      • When installing the hog rings, take care to minimize wrinkles as much as possible.

    2. A0040D9

      Using hog ring pliers, install the separate type front seatback cover to the separate type front seatback pad with 5 new hog rings.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the separate type front seatback cover.

      • When installing the hog rings, take care to minimize wrinkles as much as possible.

  2. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD


    1. Temporarily install the separate type front seatback cover with pad to the separate type front seatback spring assembly.

    2. A0040D7

      Engage the 4 claws to install the 2 front seat headrest supports.

    3. A0043ZP

      Install the bracket of the separate type front seatback cover with the nut.

      Torque:
      5.5 N*m  { 56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf }

      Note


      • For vehicles with front seat airbag assembly, the front seat airbag assembly may not be activated normally unless the separate type front seatback cover is securely installed.

      • Check that the strap is not twisted after installing the bracket.

      • Install the bracket securely.

      Engage the 2 hooks.

      Using hog ring pliers, connect the 2 fastening rubbers to the separate type front seatback spring assembly with 3 new hog rings.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the separate type front seatback cover.

      • When installing the hog rings, take care to minimize wrinkles as much as possible.

    6. A0042SO

      Close the 2 fasteners as shown in the illustration.

    7. A0043OF

      Push in the lower part of 2 fasteners to the separate type front seatback cover as shown in the illustration.

    8. A0040T8

      Using hog ring pliers, install 3 new hog rings.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the separate type front seatback cover.

      • When installing the hog rings, take care to minimize wrinkles as much as possible.

    9. A0041YZ

      Using hog ring pliers, install 2 new hog rings.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the separate type front seatback cover.

      • When installing the hog rings, take care to minimize wrinkles as much as possible.
