SEAT HEATER SWITCH INSPECTION

INSPECT SEAT HEATER SWITCH (for Driver)

1. for LHD:

   Check the seat heater switch (for Driver).

      *a	Component without harness connected (Seat Heater Switch (for Driver))

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition 1 - 6 "HI" switch on Below 1 Ω 1 - 6 "HI" switch off 10 kΩ or higher 2 - 3 "HI" switch on Below 1 Ω 2 - 3 "HI" switch off 10 kΩ or higher 2 - 6 "HI" switch off 10 kΩ or higher 1 - 2 "LO" switch on Below 1 Ω 1 - 2 "LO" switch off 10 kΩ or higher 2 - 6 "LO" switch off 10 kΩ or higher

      If the result is not as specified, replace the seat heater switch (for Driver).

2. for LHD:

   Check the LED illuminates.

   
   

   1. Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the seat heater switch (for Driver) and check that the LED illuminates.

      OK
      Connection Condition Specified Condition Auxiliary battery positive (+) → 2 Auxiliary battery negative (-) → 6 "HI" switch on Comes on (Yellow) Auxiliary battery positive (+) → 2 Auxiliary battery negative (-) → 6 "LO" switch on Comes on (Yellow) Auxiliary battery positive (+) → 4 Auxiliary battery negative (-) → 5 Always Comes on (Greenish white)

      If the result is not as specified, replace the seat heater switch (for Driver).

3. for RHD:

   Check the seat heater switch (for Driver).

      If the result is not as specified, replace the seat heater switch (for Driver).

INSPECT SEAT HEATER SWITCH (for Front Passenger)

1. for LHD:

   Check the seat heater switch (for Front Passenger).

   1. Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the seat heater switch (for Front Passenger) and check that the LED illuminates.

      OK

3. for RHD:
