FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Manual Seat) INSTALLATION


  1. INSTALL FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY


    1. Place the front seat assembly in the cabin.

      Note

      Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

    2. Connect each connector and clamp under the front seat assembly.

    3. Temporarily install the front seat assembly with the 4 bolts.

    4. Lift up the seat track adjusting handle and move the front seat assembly to the rearmost position.

    5. A00448CE01

      Tighten the 2 bolts on the front side of front seat assembly.

      Torque:
      37 N*m  { 377 kgf*cm, 27 ft.*lbf }

      Tech Tips

      Tighten the bolts in the order indicated in the illustration.

    6. Lift up the seat track adjusting handle and move the front seat assembly to the foremost position.

    7. A0043X1E01

      Tighten the 2 bolts on the rear side of front seat assembly.

      Torque:
      37 N*m  { 377 kgf*cm, 27 ft.*lbf }

      Tech Tips

      Tighten the bolts in the order indicated in the illustration.

  2. INSTALL INNER SEAT TRACK COVER


    1. A0043SK

      Engage the guide and claw to install the inner seat track cover.

  3. INSTALL OUTER SEAT TRACK COVER


    1. A004034

      Engage the 2 claws to install the outer seat track cover.

  4. INSTALL FRONT SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY

  5. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

  6. INSTALL REAR NO. 3 FLOOR BOARD UPPER PLATE


    1. Engage the 2 claws to install the rear No. 3 floor board upper plate.

  7. INSTALL DECK FLOOR BOX RH


    1. Engage the claw and 4 guide to install the deck floor box RH.

  8. INSTALL REAR NO. 3 FLOOR BOARD


    1. Install the rear No. 3 floor board.

  9. INSPECT FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY


    1. During sliding operation of the front seat assembly, check that the left and right seat adjusters move together smoothly and lock simultaneously.

      If the seat adjusters do not lock simultaneously, loosen the seat mounting bolts to adjust the adjuster position.

    2. Check the seat heater operation.


      1. Turn the power switch to on (IG).

      2. Push the seat heater switch on.

      3. Wait 5 minutes or more and confirm that the seat surface becomes warm.
