FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Manual Seat) DISASSEMBLY


  1. REMOVE SEAT ADJUSTER COVER CAP

      Remove the seat adjuster cover cap.

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  2. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE

      *1 Protective Tape

      Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape, disengage the claw and remove the reclining adjuster release handle.

  3. REMOVE VERTICAL ADJUSTING HANDLE (for Driver Side)

      Remove the screw and vertical adjusting handle.

  4. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD

      Remove the screw.

    2. Disengage the 6 claws and clip, and remove the front seat cushion shield.

  5. REMOVE LUMBAR SWITCH (POWER SEAT SWITCH ASSEMBLY) (for Driver Side)

      Remove the 2 screws and lumbar switch (power seat switch assembly).

  6. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY (for Driver Side)


    1. Disengage each clamp under the front seat assembly.

      Remove the nut and front seat inner belt assembly.

  7. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY (for Front Passenger Side)


    1. Disconnect the connector under the front seat assembly.

    2. Disengage each clamp under the front seat assembly.

      Remove the nut and front seat inner belt assembly.

  8. REMOVE FRONT INNER SEAT CUSHION SHIELD

      Disengage the 5 claws and remove the front inner seat cushion shield.

  9. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD

      Disconnect the rubber band.

    2. A0040AY

      Disengage the 4 hooks.

    3. A0041BK

      Disengage the 4 clamps and disconnect the seat heater wire harness.

    4. A0041K6

      Disconnect the seat heater connector.

    5. Disengage the clamp and disconnect the seat heater wire harness.

      Disengage the fastener and disconnect the front seat airbag assembly wire harness.

    7. for Front Passenger Side:


      1. A00434Z

        Disengage the hook and disconnect the belt warning occupant detection sensor connector.

      Disengage the 2 hooks as shown in the illustration.

    9. Disengage each hook and remove the separate type front seat cushion cover with pad from the separate type front seat cushion spring assembly as shown in the illustration.

  10. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER

      Remove the 2 hog rings.

    2. A0042OG

      Remove the 11 hog rings and separate type front seat cushion cover from the separate type front seat cushion pad.

  11. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD

      Remove the 2 hog rings.

      Remove the 3 hog rings.

      Pull out the lower part of 2 fasteners from the separate type front seatback cover as shown in the illustration.

      Open the 2 fasteners as shown in the illustration.

      Remove the 3 hog rings and disconnect the 2 fastening rubbers.

      Disengage the 2 hooks.

      Turn back the separate type front seatback cover and remove the nut, and disconnect the bracket of the separate type front seatback cover.

      Disengage the 4 claws and remove the 2 front seat headrest supports.

    9. Remove the separate type front seatback cover with pad from the separate type front seatback spring assembly.

  12. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER

      Remove the 5 hog rings.

      Remove the 2 hog rings and disconnect the 2 fastening rubbers, and remove the separate type front seatback cover from the separate type front seatback pad.

  13. REMOVE FRONT SEAT AIRBAG ASSEMBLY

      Disengage the 2 clamps.

    2. Remove the 2 nuts and the front seat airbag assembly.

      CAUTION:


      • The nuts must not be reused.

      • Make sure that the separate type front seatback spring assembly is not deformed. If it is, replace it with a new one.

  14. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH

      Disengage the guide and remove the reclining adjuster inside cover LH.

  15. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  16. REMOVE FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD LH (for Driver Side)

      Disengage the hook as shown in the illustration.

    2. A0041LO

      Remove the screw.

    3. Disengage the clip and remove the front seat lower cushion shield LH.

  17. REMOVE FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD RH (for Driver Side)

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  18. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION EDGE PROTECTOR LH

      Remove the screw.

    2. Disengage the 2 guides and remove the front seat cushion edge protector LH.

  19. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION EDGE PROTECTOR RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  20. REMOVE NO. 2 FRONT SEAT WIRE (for Driver Side)

      Disengage the 2 clamps.

      Disconnect the connector.

    3. Disengage the 2 clamps and remove the No. 2 front seat wire with front seat wire from the separate type front seatback spring assembly.

      Disconnect the connector to remove the No. 2 front seat wire from the front seat wire.

  21. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK SPRING ASSEMBLY

      Remove the 4 bolts and separate type front seatback spring assembly from the separate type front seat cushion spring assembly.

  22. REMOVE SEAT TRACK ADJUSTING HANDLE

      Disengage the 2 hooks and remove the seat track adjusting handle from the front seat cushion frame assembly with adjuster.
