DESCRIPTION

When the driving support ECU assembly receives a hybrid control system or engine control system malfunction signal from the power management control ECU via the CAN communication system, DTC C1A40 is stored.

When DTC C1A40 is stored, hybrid control system or engine control system DTC will also be stored.

  1. CHECK DTC OUTPUT (HYBRID CONTROL SYSTEM)


    1. Check DTCs for the hybrid control system Click here.

      OK
      Hybrid control system DTC is not output.

    NG

    GO TO HYBRID CONTROL SYSTEM Click here

    OK

  2. CHECK DTC OUTPUT (ENGINE CONTROL SYSTEM)


    1. Check DTCs for the engine control system Click here.

      OK
      Engine control system DTC is not output.

    NG

    GO TO ENGINE CONTROL SYSTEM Click here

    OK

  3. CHECK DTC OUTPUT (PRE-CRASH SAFETY SYSTEM)


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Pre-Crash 2 / Trouble Codes.

    5. Clear the DTCs Click here.

    6. Recheck for DTCs.

      OK
      DTC C1A40 is not output.

    NG

    REPLACE POWER MANAGEMENT CONTROL ECU Click here

    OK

    CHECK FOR INTERMITTENT PROBLEMS (SYMPTOM SIMULATION) Click here

  4. REPLACE POWER MANAGEMENT CONTROL ECU


    1. Replace the power management control ECU assembly Click here.
