Use the following procedure to troubleshoot the pre-crash safety system.
The GTS should be used in steps 3, 4 and 6.

INSPECT AUXILIARY BATTERY VOLTAGE
Measure the auxiliary battery voltage with the power switch off.
| Standard voltage |

| 11 to 14 V |
If the voltage is below 11 V, recharge or replace the auxiliary battery before proceeding to the next step.

CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
Use the GTS to check if the CAN communication system is functioning normally Click here.

CHECK FOR DTC
Check for DTCs Click here.
Record the DTCs.
Clear the DTCs.
Recheck for DTCs.
Attempt to duplicate the malfunction and check if the DTCs are output again Click here.
