Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.
The procedure listed below is for the LH side.
INSTALL SIDE NO. 2 AIRBAG SENSOR ASSEMBLY
Check that the power switch is off.
Check that the cable is disconnected from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.
CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal to disable the SRS system.
Insert the pin (stopper) into the body hole and install the side No. 2 airbag sensor assembly to the vehicle body with the nut.
Note
If the side No. 2 airbag sensor assembly has been dropped, or there are any cracks, dents or other defects in the case or connector, replace it with a new one.
When installing the side No. 2 airbag sensor assembly, be careful that the SRS wiring does not interfere with or is not pinched between other parts.
Make sure that the pin (stopper) is securely inserted into the body hole.
Tighten the nut while holding the side No. 2 airbag sensor assembly because the side No. 2 airbag sensor assembly pin (stopper) is easily damaged.
Connect the connector to the side No. 2 airbag sensor assembly.
Note
When connecting the airbag connector, take care not to damage the airbag wire harness.
Connect the connector as shown in the illustration (when locking, make sure that the outer connector locking sleeve returns to its original position and a click sound can be heard).

Tech Tips
When connected, the outer connector locking sleeve will slide. Be sure not to hold the outer connector locking sleeve while connecting, as it may result in an insecure fit.
Check that there is no looseness in the installation parts of the side No. 2 airbag sensor assembly.
INSTALL NO. 2 HYBRID BATTERY INTAKE DUCT (for RH Side)
Install the No. 2 hybrid battery intake duct with the clip.
INSTALL DECK TRIM SIDE PANEL ASSEMBLY RH (for RH Side)
Engage the 7 claws and 2 clips.
Install the deck trim side panel assembly RH with the screw.
INSTALL TONNEAU COVER HOLDER CAP (for RH Side)
Engage the claw to install the tonneau cover holder cap.
INSTALL LUGGAGE HOLD BELT STRIKER ASSEMBLY (for RH Side)

INSTALL REAR SIDE SEATBACK ASSEMBLY RH (for RH Side)
Engage the 2 guides as shown in the illustration.
Engage the 3 fasteners.
Install the rear side seatback assembly RH with the bolt.
INSTALL REAR DECK TRIM COVER (for RH Side)
Engage the 4 claws to install the rear deck trim cover.
INSTALL DECK TRIM SERVICE HOLE COVER (for RH Side)
Engage the 4 guides.
Engage the 4 claws to install the deck trim service hole cover.
INSTALL REAR NO. 1 FLOOR BOARD (for RH Side)
Engage the 3 fasteners.
Install the rear No. 1 floor board with the clip.
Engage each fastener.
INSTALL REAR NO. 1 FLOOR BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY (for RH Side)
Engage the claw and 3 clips to install the rear No. 1 floor board sub-assembly.
INSTALL REAR NO. 2 FLOOR BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY (for RH Side)
Engage the claw and 2 clips to install the rear No. 2 floor board sub-assembly.
INSTALL DECK FLOOR BOX LH (for RH Side)

INSTALL REAR NO. 4 FLOOR BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY (for RH Side)
Install the rear No. 4 floor board sub-assembly.
INSTALL TONNEAU COVER ASSEMBLY (for RH Side)
Install the tonneau cover assembly.
INSTALL REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY RH (for RH Side)
Place the rear seatback assembly RH in the cabin.
Note
Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.
Install the rear seatback assembly RH with the 2 bolts.
Engage the 3 fasteners.
INSTALL REAR SEAT CENTER HEADREST ASSEMBLY (for RH Side)
INSTALL REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY (for RH Side)
CONNECT REAR CENTER SEAT BELT ASSEMBLY (for RH Side)

Connect the anchor part of the rear center seat belt assembly with the bolt.
Note
Do not allow the anchor part of the rear center seat belt assembly to overlap the protruding part of the rear seat inner belt assembly RH.
INSTALL REAR SIDE SEATBACK ASSEMBLY LH (for LH Side)
Engage the 2 guides as shown in the illustration.
Engage the 3 fasteners.
Install the rear side seatback assembly LH with the bolt.
INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY
Place the rear seat cushion assembly in the cabin.
Note
Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

Engage the 2 rear hooks of the rear seat cushion assembly to the rear seatback assembly.
Engage the 2 front hooks of the rear seat cushion assembly to the vehicle body as shown in the illustration.
Confirm that the rear seat cushion assembly is firmly installed.
Note
When installing the rear seat cushion assembly, make sure that the seat belt buckles are not under the rear seat cushion assembly.
CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL

When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.
INSTALL REAR NO. 3 FLOOR BOARD UPPER PLATE
Engage the 2 claws to install the rear No. 3 floor board upper plate.

INSTALL REAR NO. 3 FLOOR BOARD
Install the rear No. 3 floor board.
INSTALL REAR NO. 2 FLOOR BOARD (for RH Side)
Engage the 3 fasteners.
Install the rear No. 2 floor board with the 2 clips.
PERFORM DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK
INSPECT SRS WARNING LIGHT
