PRE-CRASH SAFETY SYSTEM, Diagnostic DTC:C1A47

DTC Code DTC Name
C1A47 Steering Angle Sensor

DESCRIPTION

The brake booster with master cylinder (skid control ECU) receives steering rotation angle information from the steering angle sensor, and sends the information to the driving support ECU assembly via CAN communication line.

If the brake booster with master cylinder (skid control ECU) detects a malfunction of the steering angle sensor, it sends a malfunction signal to the driving support ECU assembly and stores a DTC.

DTC No. DTC Detection Condition Trouble Area
C1A47 While the vehicle speed is 50 km/h (31 mph) or more and approximately 1 second or more elapse after power switch is on (IG), a steering angle sensor malfunction signal is received from the brake booster with master cylinder (skid control ECU).
  • CAN communication system

  • Steering angle sensor

  • Brake booster with master cylinder (skid control ECU)

  • Driving support ECU assembly
