      Component without harness connected

      (Pattern Select Switch Assembly)

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      6 (CS) - 3 (E1) Pattern select switch assembly not pressed 10 kΩ or higher
      Pattern select switch assembly pressed Below 1 Ω

    2. Apply auxiliary battery voltage from the wire harness back side between the terminals of the switch, and check the lighting condition of the pattern select switch assembly.

      OK
      Measurement Condition Condition Specified Condition

      Auxiliary battery positive (+) → 5 (ILL+)

      Auxiliary battery negative (-) → 4 (ILL-)

      		 Always Pattern select switch assembly illuminates

      If the result is not as specified, replace the pattern select switch assembly.
