Inspect the fuses for circuits related to this system before performing the following inspection procedure.

PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY


    1. Remove the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) Click here.

    2. Disconnect the 2B, 2C and 2E instrument panel junction block assembly connectors.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      2B-6 - A-11 (GND1) Always Below 1 Ω
      2C-18 - A-30 (BECU) Always Below 1 Ω
      2E-1 - A-31 (ALTB) Always Below 1 Ω
