THEFT DETERRENT SYSTEM Glass Breakage Sensor Circuit

DESCRIPTION

When the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) detects that glass breakage sensor wire (back door glass) is broken, the theft deterrent system switches from the armed state to the alarm sounding state.

  1. CHECK VEHICLE CONDITION (BACK DOOR GLASS AND BACK WINDOW FIX GLASS)


    1. Check the vehicle condition (back door glass and back window fix glass).

  2. INSPECT INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY


    1. Disconnect the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) Click here.

    2. Disconnect the 2B instrument panel junction block assembly connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

    1. Disconnect the V11 glass breakage sensor wire (back door glass) connector.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      V11-1 (SSR+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    1. Disconnect the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) Click here.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
