CHARGE INLET INSTALLATION


  1. INSTALL EV CHARGER WIRE

    CAUTION:

    Wear insulated gloves.


    1. Install the wire harness with the nut.

      Torque:
      8.0 N*m  { 82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf }

    2. Connect the connector.

    3. Connect the 3 clamps.

    4. Connect the 2 clamps.

    5. Connect the 2 clamps.

      *a Green-colored Lock

      Connect the 2 connectors and slide the 2 green-colored locks in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration to lock them securely.

      Note

      Make sure that the connectors are connected securely.

    7. Connect the clamp.

    8. Connect the 2 connectors.

  2. INSTALL NO. 2 HYBRID VEHICLE BATTERY SHIELD PANEL

    CAUTION:

    Wear insulated gloves.


    1. Install the No. 2 hybrid vehicle battery shield panel with the 3 nuts.

      Torque:
      7.5 N*m  { 76 kgf*cm, 66 in.*lbf }

      *1 Battery Cover Lock Striker
      *2 Button
      *a Push

      Install the battery cover lock striker, then push the button to lock it.

  3. INSTALL BATTERY CHARGER CONNECTOR OPENING LID SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Install the battery charger connector opening lid sub-assembly with the 4 nuts.

      Torque:
      5.5 N*m  { 56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf }

    2. Connect the 2 connectors.

  4. INSTALL ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGER CABLE

    CAUTION:

    Wear insulated gloves.


    1. Install the electric vehicle charger cable with 4 new bolts.

      Torque:
      8.0 N*m  { 82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf }

      Note


      • Do not reuse the 4 electric vehicle charger cable bolts.

      • Do not drop the electric vehicle charger cable.

      • Do not reuse the electric vehicle charger cable if it has been dropped.

    2. Connect the clamp.

      Connect the connector and slide the green-colored lock in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration to lock it securely.

      Note

      Make sure that the connector is connected securely.

    4. Connect the clamp and 2 connectors.

    5. Install the wire harness with the bolt.

      Torque:
      7.0 N*m  { 71 kgf*cm, 62 in.*lbf }

    6. Connect the clamp and connector.

    7. Connect the hose.

      Note

      Make sure that the hose is connected securely.

  5. INSTALL DECK TRIM SIDE PANEL ASSEMBLY RH


    1. Engage the 7 claws and 2 clips.

    2. Install the deck trim side panel assembly RH with the screw.

  6. INSTALL TONNEAU COVER HOLDER CAP (for RH Side)

  7. INSTALL LUGGAGE HOLD BELT STRIKER ASSEMBLY (for RH Side)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side Click here.

  8. INSTALL REAR SIDE SEAT BACK ASSEMBLY RH


    1. A0043VX

      Engage the 2 guides as shown in the illustration.

    2. Engage the 3 fasteners.

    3. Install the rear side seatback assembly RH with the bolt.

      Torque:
      18 N*m  { 184 kgf*cm, 13 ft.*lbf }

  9. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY


    1. Place the rear seat cushion assembly in the cabin.

      Note

      Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

      *2 Front Hook

      Engage the 2 rear hooks of the rear seat cushion assembly to the rear seatback assembly.

    3. Engage the 2 front hooks of the rear seat cushion assembly to the vehicle body as shown in the illustration.

    4. Confirm that the rear seat cushion assembly is firmly installed.

      Note

      When installing the rear seat cushion assembly, make sure that the seat belt buckles are not under the rear seat cushion assembly.

  10. INSTALL REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP RH

      *1 Alignment Mark (Blue)

      Align the alignment mark (Blue) on the weatherstrip with the protruding portion on the body indicated by the arrow in the illustration, and install the rear door opening trim weatherstrip RH.

      Note

      After installation, check that the corners fit correctly.

  11. INSTALL REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH

  12. INSTALL REAR DECK TRIM COVER


    1. Engage the 4 claws to install the rear deck trim cover.

  13. INSTALL DECK TRIM SERVICE HOLE COVER


    1. Engage the 4 guides.

    2. Engage the 4 claws to install the deck trim service hole cover.

  14. INSTALL REAR NO. 1 FLOOR BOARD


    1. Engage the 3 fasteners.

    2. Install the rear No. 1 floor board with the clip.

    3. Engage each fastener.

  15. INSTALL REAR NO. 1 FLOOR BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Engage the claw and 3 clips to install the rear No. 1 floor board sub-assembly.

  16. INSTALL REAR NO. 2 FLOOR BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Engage the claw and 2 clips to install the rear No. 2 floor board sub-assembly.

  17. INSTALL TONNEAU COVER ASSEMBLY


    1. Install the tonneau cover assembly.

  18. INSTALL DECK FLOOR BOX LH

    1. Install the rear No. 4 floor board sub-assembly.

  20. INSTALL REAR NO. 2 FLOOR BOARD


    1. Engage the 3 fasteners.

    2. Install the rear No. 2 floor board with the 2 clips.
