DESCRIPTION

The plugin charge control ECU assembly detects a reset signal while the vehicle is being plug-in charged or driven.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

Tech Tips

After the repair, turn the power switch on (READY) and wait for 10 seconds or more, or perform plug-in charging for 1 minute or more and disconnect the electric vehicle charger cable assembly. And then turn the power switch on (READY) and wait for 10 seconds or more to check that no DTCs are output.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK DTC OUTPUT (PLUG-IN CONTROL)


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).

    3. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Plug-in Control / Trouble Codes.

    4. Check if DTCs are output.

      Result
      Result Proceed to
      P2511-441 only is output. A
      DTCs other than P2511-441 is output. B

    5. Turn the power switch off.

  2. CHECK AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL (CONTACT PROBLEM)


    1. Check the connection of the auxiliary battery terminal.

      OK
      The terminal is connected securely and there is no contact problem.
