FREEZE FRAME DATA

The plugin charge control ECU assembly records vehicle and driving condition information as freeze frame data the moment a DTC is stored. Freeze frame data is used to determine the condition of the vehicle at the time the malfunction occurred and to perform a reproduction test. When checking the information codes for the plug-in charge control system, refer to Detail Code 1 to 5.
Connect the GTS to the DLC3.
Turn the power switch on (IG).
Turn the GTS on.
Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Plug-in Control / Trouble Codes.
Select a DTC in order to display its freeze frame data.
Check the freeze frame information recorded with the DTC.
