SIDE MOULDING (for Rear Side) INSTALLATION

Tech Tips


  • Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.

  • The procedure listed below is for the LH side.


  1. INSTALL REAR NO. 2 WHEEL OPENING EXTENSION LH


    1. Install 2 new clips to the rear No. 2 wheel opening extension.

    2. Attach the 2 clips to install the rear No. 2 wheel opening extension.

    3. Install the retainer.

  2. INSTALL SIDE STEP ASSEMBLY LH


    1. Install the side step with the nut and 5 bolts.

      Torque:
      18 N*m  { 184 kgf*cm, 13 ft.*lbf }

  3. INSTALL REAR NO. 1 WHEEL OPENING EXTENSION LH


    1. Install 6 new clips to the rear No. 1 wheel opening extension.

    2. Attach the 6 clips to install the rear No. 1 wheel opening extension.

    3. Install the 2 screws.

  4. INSTALL REAR BUMPER COVER


    1. w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System:

      Connect the 2 No. 3 luggage room wire connectors.

    2. Attach the 8 claws to install the rear bumper cover.

    3. Install the 6 screws and 2 clips.

    4. Install the 3 clips.

  5. INSTALL REAR QUARTER PANEL MUDGUARD LH


    1. Install the rear quarter panel mudguard with the 6 screws.

  6. INSTALL REAR QUARTER PANEL MUDGUARD RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.
