SIDE MOULDING (for Front Side) REMOVAL

Tech Tips


  • Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.

  • The procedure listed below is for the LH side.


  1. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE

      Remove the 2 clips and 2 screws.

      *1 Protective Tape

      Put protective tape around the radiator grille.

    3. Detach the 6 claws and remove the radiator grille.

  2. REMOVE FOG LIGHT COVER LH (w/ Fog Light)

      Put protective tape around the fog light cover.

    2. Using the screwdriver, detach the 8 claws and remove the fog light cover.

      Tech Tips

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

  3. REMOVE FOG LIGHT COVER RH (w/ Fog Light)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  4. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER HOLE COVER LH (w/o Fog Light)

      *1 Protective Tape

      Put protective tape around the front bumper hole cover.

    2. Using the screwdriver, detach the 8 claws and remove the front bumper hole cover.

      Tech Tips

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

  5. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER HOLE COVER RH (w/o Fog Light)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  6. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER COVER

      Remove the 6 screws and 3 clips.

    2. A01J3V1E01

      Put protective tape around the front bumper cover.

    3. Remove the 2 screws, 2 bolts and 5 clips.

    4. w/ Headlight Cleaner System:

      Disconnect the headlight cleaner hose, and then drain the washer fluid.

      Tech Tips

      Use a container to collect the washer fluid.

    5. w/ Fog Light:

      Disconnect the 2 fog light connectors.

      Detach the 8 claws and remove the front bumper cover.

  7. REMOVE FRONT FENDER MUDGUARD LH

      Remove the 4 screws and front fender mudguard.

  8. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL OPENING EXTENSION LH

    1. Put protective tape around the front wheel opening extension.

    2. Remove the 4 screws.

    3. A01J543

      Detach the 8 clips and remove the front wheel opening extension.

    4. Remove the 8 clips from the vehicle body.
