BACK DOOR SUPPORT REMOVAL

CAUTION:

Remove the back door stay while holding the back door.

Note


  • Do not touch the extendable portion of the rod to prevent foreign objects from attaching to the back door stay surface.

  • Do not push the back door stay sideways because the back door stay may bend.

Tech Tips


  • Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.

  • The procedure listed below is for the LH side.

      Remove the 4 bolts and back door stay.

      CAUTION:

      Remove the back door stay while holding the back door.
