REAR BUMPER REASSEMBLY


  1. INSTALL REFLEX REFLECTOR ASSEMBLY LH


    1. Attach the guide to install the reflex reflector.

    2. Install the screw.

  2. INSTALL REFLEX REFLECTOR ASSEMBLY RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  3. INSTALL REAR BUMPER EXTENSION (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System)


    1. Install the 3 rear bumper extensions.

  4. INSTALL NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for both No. 1 ultrasonic sensor retainers.

      *2 Protrusion of the rear bumper cover

      Align the keyway of the ultrasonic sensor retainer with the protrusion of the rear bumper cover.

      Attach the 2 claws to install the ultrasonic sensor retainer to the rear bumper cover.

      Note


      • Do not damage the rear bumper cover with the protrusion of the ultrasonic sensor retainer when installing the retainer.

      • Firmly push in the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor retainer so that there is no gap between the retainer and the surface of the rear bumper cover.

      • If there is a gap between the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor retainer and the rear bumper cover surface, push in the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor retainer. Do not push the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor.

  5. INSTALL NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for both No. 1 ultrasonic sensors.

      Attach the 2 claws to install the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor.

    2. Connect the connector.

      Note

      If there is a gap between the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor retainer and the rear bumper cover surface, push in the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor retainer. Do not push the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor.

  6. INSTALL NO. 3 LUGGAGE ROOM WIRE (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System)


    1. Attach the 3 clamps to install the luggage room wire.

    2. Connect the 2 ultrasonic sensor connectors.
