REAR BUMPER DISASSEMBLY


  1. REMOVE NO. 3 LUGGAGE ROOM WIRE (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System)

    1. Disconnect the 2 ultrasonic sensor connectors.

    2. Detach the 3 clamps and remove the luggage room wire from the bumper cover.

  2. REMOVE NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for both No. 1 ultrasonic sensors.


    1. Disconnect the connector.

      While pushing down on the lever with a finger to release the claw on the top of the sensor, detach the claw on the other side to remove the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor.

      Tech Tips

      The type of claw on the top and the type of claw on the bottom of the sensor are different. Observe the claws carefully before removing the sensor.

  3. REMOVE NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for both No. 1 ultrasonic sensor retainers.

      Detach the 2 claws and remove the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor retainer from the rear bumper cover.

  4. REMOVE REAR BUMPER EXTENSION (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System)

      Remove the 3 rear bumper extensions.

  5. REMOVE REFLEX REFLECTOR ASSEMBLY LH


    1. A01J7FF

      Remove the screw.

    2. Detach the guide and remove the reflex reflector.

  6. REMOVE REFLEX REFLECTOR ASSEMBLY RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.
