CAUTION:

Wear protective gloves. Sharp areas on the seatback frame and seat cushion frame may injure your hands.


  1. INSTALL NO. 1 FOLD SEAT STOPPER BAND ASSEMBLY

      Install the band to the seat cushion frame.

  2. INSTALL REAR NO. 1 SEAT CUSHION COVER

    Note


    • A01J6E4E01

    • Be careful not to damage the cover.

    • When installing the hog rings, avoid wrinkling the cover.


    1. Except TASA made:

      Using hog ring pliers, install the seat cushion cover to the seat cushion pad with 9 new hog rings.

    2. TASA made:

      Using hog ring pliers, install the seat cushion cover to the seat cushion pad with 4 new hog rings.

    3. Install the seat cushion cover (with pad) to the seat cushion frame.

      Tech Tips

      Make sure that the stopper band is not inside the cushion frame.

  3. INSTALL REAR SEAT LAP TYPE BELT ASSEMBLY RH

      Pass the lap type belt through the hole in the seat cushion cover (with pad). Install the lap type belt to the seat cushion frame with the bolt.

      Torque:
      42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }

  4. INSTALL REAR SEAT LAP TYPE BELT ASSEMBLY CENTER


    1. Pass the lap type belt through the hole in the seat cushion cover (with pad). Install the lap type belt to the seat cushion frame with the bolt.

      Torque:
      42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }

  5. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY RH (for Slide Seat Type)


    1. A01J6ATE01

      Attach the 2 claws and install the under cover with the 4 screws.

    2. A01J6W1E01

      Attach the 11 claws and hooks. Then install the seat cushion cover to the under cover.

  6. INSTALL REAR NO. 1 SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY (for Slide Seat Type)


    1. Using a T40 "TORX" socket, install the 2 seat tracks to the seat cushion with the 2 "TORX" bolts.

      Torque:
      40 N*m  { 408 kgf*cm, 30 ft.*lbf }

    2. Install the seat track adjusting handle.

    3. Lift up the seat track adjusting handle and move the seat track to the foremost position.

    4. Using a T40 "TORX" socket, tighten the 4 "TORX" bolts on the rear side of the seat track.

      Torque:
      40 N*m  { 408 kgf*cm, 30 ft.*lbf }

  7. INSTALL SEAT LEG SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (for Non-slide Seat Type)


    1. Using a T40 "TORX" socket, install the seat leg with the 2 "TORX" bolts.

      Torque:
      40 N*m  { 408 kgf*cm, 30 ft.*lbf }

  8. INSTALL SEAT LEG SUB-ASSEMBLY RH (for Non-slide Seat Type)


    1. Using a T40 "TORX" socket, install the seat leg with the 2 "TORX" bolts.

      Torque:
      40 N*m  { 408 kgf*cm, 30 ft.*lbf }

  9. INSTALL REAR NO. 1 SEAT TRACK BRACKET (for Slide Seat Type)

      Using a T40 "TORX" socket, install the bracket with the 2 "TORX" bolts.

      Torque:
      40 N*m  { 408 kgf*cm, 30 ft.*lbf }

  10. INSTALL REAR SEAT LOCK ASSEMBLY RH


    1. Install the lock control cable to the lock with a new E-ring and plate.

    2. A01J5O8

      Using a T40 "TORX" socket, install the lock with the 2 "TORX" bolts.

      Torque:
      40 N*m  { 408 kgf*cm, 30 ft.*lbf }

    3. Connect the lock control cable to the seat track.

    4. Install the support spring.

  11. INSTALL REAR SEAT LOCK ASSEMBLY LH

      Using a T40 "TORX" socket, install the lock with the plate and 2 "TORX" bolts.

      Torque:
      40 N*m  { 408 kgf*cm, 30 ft.*lbf }

      Connect the lock control cable to the lock as shown in the illustration.

    3. Install the support spring.

  12. INSTALL RECLINING RELEASE HANDLE SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Slide Seat Type)

      Install the release handle to the rear seat lock through the hole in the rear seat cushion under cover.

  13. INSTALL REAR SEAT BACK LOCK RELEASE BUTTON (for Slide Seat Type)


    1. Install the 2 rear seatback lock release buttons to the reclining release handle sub-assembly.

  14. INSTALL REAR OUTER SEAT TRACK BRACKET LH (for Non-slide Seat Type)


    1. Using a T40 "TORX" socket, install the bracket with the 2 "TORX" bolts.

      Torque:
      40 N*m  { 408 kgf*cm, 30 ft.*lbf }

  15. INSTALL REAR SEAT HINGE ASSEMBLY LH (for Slide Seat Type)

      Install the hinge with the 2 nuts.

      Torque:
      42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }

  16. INSTALL REAR SEAT HINGE ASSEMBLY LH (for Non-slide Seat Type)

      Using a T40 "TORX" socket, install the hinge with the 2 "TORX" bolts.

      Torque:
      40 N*m  { 408 kgf*cm, 30 ft.*lbf }

  17. INSTALL REAR SEAT HINGE ASSEMBLY RH (for Slide Seat Type)


    1. Install the hinge with the 2 nuts.

      Torque:
      42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }

  18. INSTALL REAR SEAT HINGE ASSEMBLY RH (for Non-slide Seat Type)


    1. Using a T40 "TORX" socket, install the hinge with the 2 "TORX" bolts.

      Torque:
      40 N*m  { 408 kgf*cm, 30 ft.*lbf }

  19. INSTALL REAR NO. 2 SEAT LOCK COVER RH


    1. A01J6GA

      Install the lock cover with the 2 screws.

  20. INSTALL REAR NO. 1 SEAT LOCK COVER RH (for Slide Seat Type)

      Attach the rear seat lock control cable to the lock cover's claw.

    2. Install the lock cover with the 7 screws.

    3. Install the reclining remote control lever knob with the screw.

  21. INSTALL REAR SEAT LOCK COVER RH (for Non-slide Seat Type)

      Attach the rear seat lock control cable to the lock cover's claw.

    2. Install the lock cover with the 5 screws.

    3. Install the reclining remote control lever knob with the screw.

    4. Install the 2 lock covers.

  22. INSTALL REAR NO. 1 SEAT BELT ASSEMBLY INNER RH


    1. Install the belt with the bolt.

      Torque:
      42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }

  23. INSTALL REAR SEAT ARMREST ARM LH


    1. Install the arm with the nut.

  24. INSTALL REAR SEAT ARMREST ARM RH


    1. Install the arm with the nut.

  25. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK BOARD RH

  26. INSTALL REAR NO. 1 SEATBACK COVER

    Note


    • Be careful not to damage the cover.

    • When installing the hog rings, avoid wrinkling the cover.

      Using hog ring pliers, install the seatback cover to the seatback pad with 2 new hog rings.

    2. Install the seatback cover (with pad) to the seatback frame.

    3. Attach the 4 claws to install the 2 headrest supports.

      Using hog ring pliers, install 10 new hog rings.

      Install the armrest with the 2 bushes and 2 bolts.

    6. A01J474E01

      Close the zipper.

    7. Attach the 2 hooks labeled B or close the fastening tapes.

      Tech Tips


      • Depending on the type of seat cover, hooks or fastening tape is present.

      • Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

    8. Attach the hook labeled A.

  27. INSTALL REAR NO. 1 SEATBACK ASSEMBLY

      Install the seatback with the 4 bolts.

      Torque:
      50 N*m  { 510 kgf*cm, 37 ft.*lbf }

  28. INSTALL REAR NO. 1 SEAT RECLINING COVER RH


    1. A01J3NNE01

      Attach the 4 claws to install the reclining cover.

    2. Install the screw.

  29. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE RH

      Install the release handle with the screw.

  30. INSTALL REAR NO. 1 SEAT RECLINING COVER LH

      Attach the 3 claws to install the reclining cover.

    2. Install the screw.
