CIGARETTE LIGHTER REMOVAL


  1. REMOVE SWITCH BASE

    A01J443

    1. Detach the 8 claws.

      Tech Tips

      If the claws are difficult to detach, detach the claws from the back of the switch base.

    2. Disconnect the connectors and remove the switch base.

  2. REMOVE CIGARETTE LIGHTER COVER

      Detach the 2 claws and remove the cover.

  3. REMOVE CIGARETTE LIGHTER ASSEMBLY

      Rotate the cigarette lighter socket to disengage the cigarette lighter bezel stay's notch from the socket hole.

      Note

      Do not damage the bulb terminal.

    2. Pull out the socket halfway.

    3. Align the socket with the stay's grooves and remove the socket.
