DESCRIPTION
If the door glass or the front power window regulator motor assembly LH does not operate smoothly, the jam protection function may be triggered automatically, resulting in the auto up function being unable to fully close the window.
Tech Tips
The jam protection function is only available on the driver side power window.

PERFORM INITIALIZATION
Initialize the front power window regulator motor assembly LH Click here.
Check that the driver side door power window moves when the auto up and down functions of the power window regulator master switch assembly are operated Click here.

CHECK WINDOW GLASS SLIDING MOVEMENT (APPLICABLE LOCATION)
Remove the front power window regulator motor assembly LH.
Install the window glass to the door glass run.
Check if the power window regulator operates smoothly.
Check that the window glass slides smoothly when sliding it up by hand.

Tech Tips
Make sure that the following conditions are met:
The window glass fits with the glass run without improper contact or deformation.
Foreign objects are not caught in the glass run.

Reset the front power window regulator motor assembly LH again.
