ULTRASONIC SENSOR INSTALLATION


  1. INSTALL NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for both No. 1 ultrasonic sensor retainers.

      *2 Protrusion of the rear bumper cover

      Align the keyway of the ultrasonic sensor retainer with the protrusion of the rear bumper cover.

      Attach the 2 claws to install the ultrasonic sensor retainer to the rear bumper cover.

      Note


      • Do not damage the rear bumper cover with the protrusion of the ultrasonic sensor retainer when installing the retainer.

      • Firmly push in the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor retainer so that there is no gap between the retainer and the surface of the rear bumper cover.

      • If there is a gap between the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor retainer and the rear bumper cover surface, push in the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor retainer. Do not push the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor.

  2. INSTALL NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for both No. 1 ultrasonic sensors.

      Attach the 2 claws to install the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor.

    2. Connect the connector.

      Note

      If there is a gap between the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor retainer and the rear bumper cover surface, push in the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor retainer. Do not push the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor.

  3. INSTALL NO. 3 LUGGAGE ROOM WIRE


    1. Attach the 3 clamps to install the luggage room wire.

    2. Connect the 2 ultrasonic sensor connectors.

  4. INSTALL REAR BUMPER COVER
