POWER WINDOW CONTROL SYSTEM (w/ Jam Protection Function) Rear Power Window RH Manual Function does not Operate with Rear Power Window Switch RH

DESCRIPTION

If the rear RH side manual up/down function does not operate, a malfunction may be present in the rear power window regulator motor assembly RH, rear power window regulator switch assembly RH, power window regulator master switch assembly or wire harness.

  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY RH - BATTERY)

      Disconnect the rear power window regulator switch assembly RH connector.

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      P13-3 - Body ground Ignition switch ON 11 to 14 V
      Ignition switch off Below 1 V

  2. INSPECT REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY RH


    1. Remove the rear power window regulator switch assembly RH Click here.

    2. Inspect the rear power window regulator switch assembly RH Click here.

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY RH - REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY RH)


    1. Disconnect the P13 rear power window regulator switch assembly RH connector.

    2. Disconnect the P10 rear power window regulator motor assembly RH connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      P13-5 - P10-1 Always Below 1 Ω
      P13-2 - P10-2 Always Below 1 Ω
      P13-5 or P10-1 - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      P13-2 or P10-2 - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

  4. INSPECT REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY RH

    2. Inspect the rear power window regulator motor assembly RH Click here.

  5. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY - REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY RH)


    1. Disconnect the P6 power window regulator master switch assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the P13 rear power window regulator switch assembly RH connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      P6-18 (U) - P13-1 Always Below 1 Ω
      P6-16 (D) - P13-4 Always Below 1 Ω
      P6-18 (U) or P13-1 - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      P6-16 (D) or P13-4 - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
