AUDIO AND VISUAL SYSTEM (for Radio Receiver Type) Microphone Circuit between Microphone and Radio Receiver

DESCRIPTION

Using this circuit, the radio receiver assembly sends power to the telephone microhpone assembly, and the telephone microphone assembly sends microphone signals to the radio receiver assembly.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY - MAP LIGHT ASSEMBLY)


    1. Disconnect the R27 radio receiver assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the M4 map light assembly connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      R27-6 (SNS2) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
      R27-4 (MACC) - M4-4 (MACC) Always Below 1 Ω
      R27-5 (MIN+) - M4-3 (MCO+) Always Below 1 Ω
      R27-19 (MIN-) - M4-2 (MCO-) Always Below 1 Ω
      R27-4 (MACC) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      R27-5 (MIN+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      R27-19 (MIN-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      R27-18 (SGND) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
