INSPECTION PROCEDURE

  1. CHECK SEAT TYPE


    1. Check seat type.

  2. INSPECT FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH (BUCKLE SWITCH)

    1. Disconnect the F24 front seat inner belt assembly LH connector.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      1 - 4 Seat belt is unfastened Below 1 Ω
      1 - 4 Seat belt is fastened 1 MΩ or higher

    NG
    OK
  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (FRONT SEAT INNER BELT LH - COMBINATION METER)


    1. Disconnect the F24 front seat inner belt assembly LH connector.

    2. Disconnect the C27 combination meter assembly connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      F24-1 - C27-11 (BKL) Always Below 1 Ω
      F24-4 - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
      F24-1 - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    OK
  4. INSPECT FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH

    1. Disconnect the F11 front seat inner belt assembly LH connector.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      1 - 2 Seat belt is unfastened Below 1 Ω
      1 - 2 Seat belt is fastened 1 MΩ or higher

    OK
  5. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (FRONT SEAT INNER BELT LH - COMBINATION METER)


    1. Disconnect the F11 front seat inner belt assembly LH connector.

    2. Disconnect the C27 combination meter assembly connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      F11-1 - C27-11 (BKL) Always Below 1 Ω
      F11-2 - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
      F11-1 - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
