HEADLIGHT CLEANER ACTUATOR REMOVAL


  1. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE

      Remove the 2 clips and 2 screws.

      *1 Protective Tape

      Put protective tape around the radiator grille.

    3. Detach the 6 claws and remove the radiator grille.

  2. REMOVE FOG LIGHT COVER LH (w/ Fog Light)

      Put protective tape around the fog light cover.

    2. Using the screwdriver, detach the 8 claws and remove the fog light cover.

      Tech Tips

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

  3. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER HOLE COVER LH (w/o Fog Light)

      *1 Protective Tape

      Put protective tape around the front bumper hole cover.

    2. Using the screwdriver, detach the 8 claws and remove the front bumper hole cover.

      Tech Tips

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

  4. REMOVE FOG LIGHT COVER RH (w/ Fog Light)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  5. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER HOLE COVER RH (w/o Fog Light)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  6. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER COVER

      Remove the 6 screws and 3 clips.

    2. A01J3V1E01

      Put protective tape around the front bumper cover.

    3. Remove the 2 screws, 2 bolts and 5 clips.

    4. w/ Headlight Cleaner System:

      Disconnect the headlight cleaner hose, and then drain the washer fluid.

      Tech Tips

      Use a container to collect the washer fluid.

    5. w/ Fog Light:

      Disconnect the 2 fog light connectors.

      Detach the 8 claws and remove the front bumper cover.

  7. REMOVE TYPE 1 HEADLIGHT WASHER NOZZLE SUB-ASSEMBLY LH


    1. A01J7EG

      Extend the headlight washer nozzle by hand.

      Note

      Be careful not to damage the headlight washer actuator sub-assembly or headlight washer nozzle.

      Detach the 2 claws and remove the headlight cleaner washer nozzle.

  8. REMOVE HEADLIGHT WASHER ACTUATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY LH


    1. A01J35D

      Disconnect the washer hose.

    2. Remove the bolt.

    3. A01J766

      Detach the 2 claws and remove the headlight washer actuator sub-assembly.

  9. REMOVE HEADLIGHT WASHER ACTUATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  10. REMOVE NO. 1 HEADLIGHT CLEANER HOSE

      Detach the 3 clamps and remove the No. 1 headlight cleaner hose from the front bumper cover.
