INSPECT HEADLIGHT LEVELING SWITCH

Inspect the headlight leveling switch operation.

Apply battery voltage to the headlight leveling switch connector.

Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

Inspect illumination operation.

Apply battery voltage to the headlight leveling switch connector.

Check that the illumination occurs.
OK Measurement Condition Specified Condition Battery positive (+) → 3
Battery negative (-) → 6
Illumination occurs If the result is not as specified, replace the headlight leveling switch.

Inspect operation of the headlight leveling light.
-
Connect the battery's positive (+) lead to terminal 3 and negative (-) lead to terminal 6, then check that the LED illuminates.
OK LED illuminates. If the result is not as specified, replace the headlight leveling switch assembly.
