HAZARD WARNING SWITCH ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION


  1. CHECK HEATER CONTROL ASSEMBLY (HAZARD WARNING SIGNAL SWITCH) (for Automatic Air Conditioning System)

    1. Remove the heater control assembly with the connectors connected.

    2. Measure the voltage of the connector.

      Standard voltage
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      A16 - 16 (SW1) - A16 - 1 (GND) Hazard warning signal switch OFF 10 to 14 V
      A16 - 16 (SW1) - A16 - 1 (GND) Hazard warning signal switch ON Below 1 V

      If the result is not as specified, replace the control assembly.
