AIR CONDITIONING PANEL (for Manual Air Conditioning System) INSPECTION


  1. INSPECT AIR CONDITIONING CONTROL ASSEMBLY


    1. A01J3L5E01

      Measure the resistance of the blower switch.

      Standard resistance
      Switch Condition Tester Connection Specified Condition
      OFF 1 - 2 - 4 - 5 - 6 10 kΩ or higher
      LO 5 - 6 Below 1 Ω
      LO - M1 2 - 5 - 6 Below 1 Ω
      M1 2 - 5 - 6 Below 1 Ω
      M1 - M2 1 - 2 - 5 - 6 Below 1 Ω
      M2 1 - 5 - 6 Below 1 Ω
      M2 - HI 1 - 4 - 5 - 6 Below 1 Ω
      HI 4 - 5 - 6 Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, replace the A/C control.

    2. Inspect illuminations.


      1. Connect the battery's positive (+) lead to terminal 8 and negative (-) lead to terminal 3. Check that the bulbs illuminate.

        If the bulb does not illuminate, replace it.
