FIX VANE PUMP ASSEMBLY
Using SST, fix the vane pump in a vise.
REMOVE POWER STEERING SUCTION PORT UNION
Remove the bolt and suction port union.
Remove the O-ring from the suction port union.
REMOVE FLOW CONTROL VALVE
Remove the pressure port union.
Remove the O-ring from the pressure port union.
Remove the flow control valve and compression spring.
REMOVE POWER STEERING OIL PRESSURE SWITCH
Note
Be careful not to drop or badly damage the oil pressure switch. If damaged, replace it with a new one.
REMOVE REAR VANE PUMP HOUSING
Remove the 4 bolts and rear vane pump housing from the front vane pump housing.
Remove the O-ring from the front vane pump housing.
TEST SHAFT SUB-ASSEMBLY WITH PULLEY
Note
Be careful not to drop or badly damage the pulley shaft. If damaged, replace it with a new one.
Using a screwdriver, remove the snap ring from the pulley shaft.
Remove the pulley shaft.
REMOVE VANE PUMP ROTOR
Remove the 10 vane plates.
Remove the vane pump rotor.
REMOVE VANE PUMP CAM RING
REMOVE FRONT VANE PUMP SIDE PLATE
Remove the side plate from the front vane pump housing.
Remove the O-ring from the side plate.
Remove the O-ring from the front vane pump housing.
REMOVE VANE PUMP HOUSING OIL SEAL
Using a screwdriver, pry out the oil seal.

Be careful not to damage the front vane pump housing.
