BRAKE PEDAL REMOVAL


  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    CAUTION:

    Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

  2. REMOVE COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY


    1. Remove the combination meter Click here.

  3. DISCONNECT BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER PUSH ROD CLEVIS


    1. Disconnect the stop light switch connector.

      Remove the return spring.

    3. Remove the clip and clevis pin.

    4. Disconnect the push rod clevis from the brake pedal.

  4. REMOVE BRAKE PEDAL SUPPORT SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Remove the bolt from the support.

    2. A01J3D3

      Remove the 4 nuts and support.
