REAR LOWER ARM INSTALLATION

Tech Tips


  • Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side.

  • The procedures listed below are for the LH side.


  1. TEMPORARILY INSTALL LOWER CONTROL ARM ASSEMBLY LH


    1. A01J7DAE01

      for TMMIN and TMEE made:


      1. Temporarily install the lower control arm with the bolt and nut.

      2. A01J6HSE01

        Temporarily install the bolt and nut to the axle housing.

    2. A01J305

      for TMT made:


      1. Temporarily install the lower control arm with the bolt and nut.

      2. A01J5E8

        Temporarily install the bolt and nut to the axle housing.

  2. CONNECT NO. 3 PARKING BRAKE CABLE ASSEMBLY

    Torque:
    26 N*m  { 260 kgf*cm, 19 ft.*lbf }

  3. INSTALL REAR WHEEL

    Torque:
    105 N*m  { 1071 kgf*cm, 77 ft.*lbf }

  4. STABILIZE SUSPENSION


    1. Lower the vehicle.

    2. Press down on the vehicle several times to stabilize the suspension.

  5. TIGHTEN LOWER CONTROL ARM ASSEMBLY LH


    1. Tighten the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      145 N*m  { 1479 kgf*cm, 107 ft.*lbf }

      Tech Tips

      While fixing the nuts in place, tighten the bolts.
