REAR UPPER CONTROL ARM INSTALLATION

  • Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side.

  • The procedures listed below are for the LH side.

  • A bolt without a torque specification is shown in the standard bolt chart Click here.


  1. TEMPORARILY INSTALL UPPER CONTROL ARM ASSEMBLY


    1. Temporarily install the control arm with the 2 bolts and 2 nuts.

  2. INSTALL FUEL TANK ASSEMBLY

  3. INSTALL CENTER EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY


    1. for 1GR-FE:

  4. INSTALL REAR WHEEL

    Torque:
    105 N*m  { 1,071 kgf*cm, 77 ft.*lbf }

  5. STABILIZE SUSPENSION


    1. Lower the vehicle.

    2. Press down on the vehicle several time to stabilize the suspension.

  6. TIGHTEN UPPER CONTROL ARM ASSEMBLY


    1. Tighten the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      145 N*m  { 1,479 kgf*cm, 107 ft.*lbf }

      Tech Tips

      While fixing the nut in place, tighten the bolts.
