DIFFERENTIAL CARRIER ASSEMBLY (for DANA Made) REMOVAL


  1. REMOVE REAR WHEEL

  2. REMOVE REAR PROPELLER SHAFT ASSEMBLY


    1. Remove the propeller shaft Click here.

  3. REMOVE REAR AXLE HOUSING FILLER PLUG


    1. Remove the filler plug.

  4. REMOVE REAR AXLE HOUSING DRAIN PLUG


    1. Remove the drain plug.

  5. REMOVE REAR BRAKE DRUM SUB-ASSEMBLY LH


    1. Remove the brake drum Click here.

  6. REMOVE REAR BRAKE DRUM SUB-ASSEMBLY RH


    1. Remove the brake drum Click here.

  7. REMOVE BRAKE PEDAL RETURN SPRING LH

  8. REMOVE BRAKE PEDAL RETURN SPRING RH

  9. REMOVE REAR SPEED SENSOR LH


    1. Remove the speed sensor Click here.

  10. REMOVE REAR SPEED SENSOR RH


    1. Remove the speed sensor Click here.

  11. REMOVE PARKING BRAKE CABLE


    1. Remove the parking brake cable Click here.

  12. REMOVE REAR AXLE SHAFT WITH BACKING PLATE LH


    1. Remove the rear axle shaft with backing plate Click here.

  13. REMOVE REAR AXLE SHAFT WITH BACKING PLATE RH


    1. Remove the rear axle shaft with backing plate Click here.

  14. REMOVE REAR AXLE SHAFT OIL SEAL LH


    1. Remove the axle shaft oil seal Click here.

  15. REMOVE REAR AXLE SHAFT OIL SEAL RH


    1. Remove the axle shaft oil seal Click here.

  16. REMOVE DIFFERENTIAL CARRIER ASSEMBLY REAR

    1. Remove the 10 nuts and differential carrier.

      Note

      Be careful not to damage the contact surface.

  17. REMOVE REAR DIFFERENTIAL CARRIER GASKET
