FRONT LOWER SUSPENSION ARM DISASSEMBLY


  1. REMOVE FRONT NO. 1 LOWER ARM BUSH

    A01J3XUE01

    1. Using a hammer and chisel, strike and bend the entire flange of the bush as shown in the illustration.

    2. A01J41VE01

      Using SST and a press, press out the bush.

  2. REMOVE FRONT NO. 2 LOWER ARM BUSH

    1. Using a hammer and chisel, strike and bend the entire flange of the bush as shown in the illustration.

    2. A01J5SLE01

      Using SST and a press, press out the bush.

  3. REMOVE LOWER BALL JOINT ASSEMBLY


    1. A01J5N2E02

      Using 2 screwdrivers and a hammer, remove the snap ring.

      Tech Tips

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

    2. Remove the dust cover set ring and dust cover from the lower arm.

      Using SST, remove the ball joint.

  4. REMOVE FRONT SPRING BUMPER


    1. Remove the front spring bumper from the vehicle.
