COUNTER GEAR INSTALLATION


  1. INSTALL COUNTER GEAR FRONT BEARING

    1. Using SST and a press, press in a new front bearing to the counter gear.

      SST
      09515-10010

      Note

      Install it so that the snap ring groove of the bearing faces to the front side.

  2. INSTALL NO. 2 COUNTER GEAR FRONT BEARING SNAP RING


    1. Select a snap ring that makes the clearance between the counter gear and snap ring to be within the specification.

      Standard clearance
      0.10 mm (0.00393 in.) or less
      Mark Thickness
      A 2.05 to 2.10 mm (0.0807 to 0.0827 in.)
      B 2.10 to 2.15 mm (0.0827 to 0.0846 in.)
      C 2.15 to 2.20 mm (0.0846 to 0.0866 in.)
      D 2.20 to 2.25 mm (0.0866 to 0.0886 in.)
      E 2.25 to 2.30 mm (0.0886 to 0.0906 in.)
      F 2.30 to 2.35 mm (0.0906 to 0.0925 in.)

      Using a snap ring expander, install the snap ring.
