SECOND COAST BRAKE DISASSEMBLY


  1. REMOVE 2ND COAST BRAKE PISTON OIL SEAL RING

  2. REMOVE 2ND COAST BRAKE PISTON ROD

    A01J5CQE01

    1. Firmly hold down the piston, and then compress the compression spring.

    2. Remove the E-ring.

    3. A01J3YJE01

      Remove the spring, washer plate and piston rod.

  3. INSPECT 2ND COAST BRAKE BAND

    A01J5EDE01

    Note


    • If the lining of the brake band is peeled off or discolored, or if any part of the printed numbers are damaged, replace the brake band.

    • Before assembling the new band, soak it in ATF for at least 15 minutes.
