AIR PUMP (w/ Secondary Air Injection System) REMOVAL


  1. REMOVE AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY


    1. A01J7HDE02

      Disconnect the mass air flow meter connector.

    2. Detach the wire harness clamp.

    3. Loosen the hose clamp.

    4. Remove the 2 bolts and air cleaner.

  2. REMOVE AIR PUMP INLET

      Remove the bolt and air pump inlet.

  3. REMOVE NO. 1 AIR INJECTION SYSTEM HOSE


    1. Remove the No. 1 air injection system hose from the air pump inlet pipe.

  4. REMOVE NO. 4 AIR INJECTION SYSTEM HOSE


    1. Disconnect the No. 4 air injection system hose from the hose clamp.

    2. Loosen the 2 clamps and remove the No. 4 air injection system hose.

  5. REMOVE FRONT FENDER APRON SEAL UPPER


    1. Remove the 5 clips and front fender apron seal upper.

  6. REMOVE AIR PUMP ASSEMBLY WITH BRACKET

      Disconnect the air pump connector.

    2. Using a clip remover, detach the 2 claws from the body panel and air pump inlet pipe.

      Disconnect the No. 3 air injection system hose from the air pump inlet pipe.

    4. Disconnect the No. 2 air injection system hose from the air pump inlet pipe.

    5. Remove the 3 bolts and air pump assembly with bracket.

  7. REMOVE AIR PUMP INLET PIPE


    1. Remove the bolt and air pump inlet pipe.

  8. REMOVE AIR PUMP COVER

      Using a clip remover, detach the 3 clips and remove the air pump cover.

  9. REMOVE NO. 2 AIR INJECTION SYSTEM HOSE

      *3 Clamp

      Detach the clamp from the No. 2 air injection system hose and wire harness.

    2. Detach the clamp from the bracket.

    3. Loosen the clamp and remove the No. 2 air injection system hose from the air pump assembly.

  10. REMOVE NO. 3 AIR INJECTION SYSTEM HOSE


    1. Remove the No. 3 air injection system hose from the air pump assembly.

  11. REMOVE AIR PUMP ASSEMBLY

      Detach the 3 fittings of the air pump insulators and remove the air pump from the bracket.
