DESCRIPTION
The ECM monitors the input signals of the accelerator pedal position sensor No. 1. When the input signals and control signals deviate, a DTC is stored.

CONFIRMATION DRIVING PATTERN
Turn the ignition switch off.
Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal and wait for 1 minute.
Connect the cable to the negative (-) battery terminal.
Turn the ignition switch to ON and wait for 16 seconds or more.

CHECK FOR DTC
Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.
Turn the ignition switch to ON.
Turn the intelligent tester on.
Clear the DTCs Click here.
Turn the intelligent tester off.
Turn the ignition switch off.
Disconnect the intelligent tester.
Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal and wait for 1 minute.
Connect the cable to the negative (-) battery terminal.
Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.
Turn the ignition switch to ON and turn the intelligent tester on.
Wait 16 seconds or more.
Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine and ECT / DTC.
Check for DTCs.
