  1. CHECK WINDSHIELD WIPER RELAY ASSEMBLY

    A01UXVSE02

    1. Disconnect the F52 windshield wiper relay assembly connector.

    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Terminal No. (Symbol) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
F52-2 (IG) - Body ground P - Body ground Power source circuit Ignition switch ON (IG) 11 to 14 V
Ignition switch off Below 1 V
      F52-12 (E) - Body ground BR - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
F52-16 (WIG) - Body ground P - Body ground Power source circuit Ignition switch ON (IG) 11 to 14 V
Ignition switch off Below 1 V
      F52-21 (VR1) - F52-8 (VR2) W - BR Adjusting volume circuit Windshield wiper switch adjusting ring changed from (+) side to (-) side 0 to 2.7 kΩ

If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness.

    3. Reconnect the F52 windshield wiper relay assembly connector.

    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
