WASHER MOTOR(for Front Side) INSPECTION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT WINDSHIELD WASHER MOTOR AND PUMP ASSEMBLY


    1. Disconnect the windshield washer motor and pump connector.

      Tech Tips

      The check should be performed with the windshield washer motor and pump installed on the washer jar.

    2. Fill the washer jar with washer fluid.

      (Windshield Washer Motor and Pump Assembly)

      Check to ensure that the windshield washer motor and pump operates when the auxiliary battery voltage is applied between the terminals.

      Specified Condition
      Measurement Condition Specified Condition

      Battery positive (+) → 1

      Battery negative (-) → 2

      		 Washer fluid flows from the washer jar.

      If the result is not as specified, replace the windshield washer motor and pump.
