BACK DOOR OPENER SWITCH INSPECTION

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT BACK DOOR OPENER SWITCH ASSEMBLY (w/ Entry and Start System)

      *a	Component without harness connected (Back Door Opener Switch assembly)

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition 1 (L) - 2 (E) Lock switch pushed Below 1 Ω Lock switch and open switch not pushed 10 kΩ or higher 3 (UL) - 2 (E) Open switch pushed Below 1 Ω Lock switch and open switch not pushed 10 kΩ or higher

      
      

      • If the result is not as specified, replace the back door opener switch assembly.

2. INSPECT BACK DOOR OPENER SWITCH ASSEMBLY (w/o Entry and Start System)

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition 2 (E) - 3 (UL) Open switch pushed Below 1 Ω Open switch not pushed 10 kΩ or higher

      
      

      • If the result is not as specified, replace the back door opener switch assembly.
